Secure cloud storage for your most important files
Filetico protects your files with military-grade encryption (end-to-end AES-256), the same standard used by banks and governments. You hold the password — we can never see your content.
What makes Filetico secure
Four layers of protection, not just a marketing promise.
End-to-end AES-256 encryption
Your files are encrypted on your device before they upload. Your password never travels to our servers — without it, not even our team can open your protected folders.
Redundant cloud backup
Every file is stored redundantly, protected against disk failure, theft or losing your device. Your only backup should never live in a single place.
Full control over what you share
Generate sharing links with an expiration date, download limits and their own password. You decide who gets in, and for how long.
The same security on every device
Windows, Mac, web, iOS and Android all use the same encryption standard — your files' security doesn't depend on which device you use.
What actually makes cloud storage secure?
It's not enough for a provider to say "your files are safe." Real security in cloud storage comes down to three verifiable things: whether it encrypts your content before it leaves your device (not just "in transit"), whether you control the encryption key or the provider holds it too, and whether you have granular control over who you share each file with.
In Filetico, folders you mark as encrypted use exactly that model: the key is derived from your password with PBKDF2 and encrypts your files with AES-256-GCM directly in your browser or computer, before a single byte is uploaded. Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to store confidential files in the cloud?
Yes, as long as the service uses real end-to-end encryption. In Filetico, folders you mark as encrypted use AES-256 with a key derived from your password directly in your browser or device — the file already travels encrypted before it touches our servers.
What happens if I forget the password to an encrypted folder?
We can't recover it for you. That's the other side of real end-to-end encryption: since we never store your password or the derived key, there's no backdoor for us either. Keep your password in a password manager.
Can Filetico see the content of my files?
In encrypted folders, no. Content is encrypted and decrypted only on your device; our servers only ever store the encrypted result. In regular (non-encrypted) folders, your files are stored securely but without this extra layer of end-to-end encryption.
How much free cloud storage do I get?
You can start for free and grow up to 1 TB of storage when you need it, without losing any security features.
